San Martin de los Andes life is strongly related to tourism. The main atraction during the winter are the winter-snow sports. Chapelco ski resort it is just 25 minutes away from town, so during the snow prime time (July, August & September) this vibrant little town receives thousands of turists.
In summer everything switches to outdoors activities related with the national parks, the wilderness, fishing and hunting. |
