The Legendary Malleo River!

The Malleo River is probably one of the most perfectly shaped dry fly fishing river in Northern Patagonia Argentina.

The upper section is without a doubt unique in its structure and beauty! Returning anglers enjoy its easy wadding on small gravel bottoms and crystal clear waters providing often opportunities for sight fishing!

Predictable late spring stonefly hatches followed by early summer caddis and good size mayflies hatches are simply followed by addict anglers that visit this destination year after year.

A good number of anglers also choose fall fishing, where the baetis and BWO hatch on those cloudy mornings. Extra thin tippets and small dries will provide great action!

The Malleo river has to be in your bucket list!
