FLOAT & CAMPING TRIPS

Wild Rivers, Starlit Camps, Unforgettable Nights

Camping & Float Trips

One of our most popular Patagonia fly fishing experiences for families, friends and small groups.

Experience Patagonia the way it was meant to be explored. Our Float & Camping Trips combine outstanding fly fishing, comfortable riverside camps, delicious Argentine cuisine and breathtaking scenery, creating one of the most rewarding adventures we offer.

Spend your days floating pristine rivers in search of wild brown and rainbow trout, then unwind each evening at comfortable riverside camps, enjoying great food, Argentine wines and unforgettable sunsets beneath the Patagonian sky.

Perfect for families, groups of friends and anglers looking for a more authentic experience, these trips offer a unique way to discover the beauty of Northern Patagonia while enjoying world-class fly fishing, spectacular landscapes and the warm hospitality that has defined our programs since 1999.

Whether you're an experienced fly angler or simply looking to share an unforgettable outdoor adventure with family and friends, our Float & Camping Trips are among the most memorable experiences Patagonia has to offer.

Why Float & Camp?
A Float & Camping Trip offers a completely different way to experience Patagonia.

Instead of returning to the lodge each afternoon, you remain on the river, floating through beautiful valleys, fishing productive water throughout the day and camping beside the river each evening. Without daily transfers, there's more time to fish, relax and fully enjoy the surroundings at a slower pace.

This program has become a favorite for families, groups of friends and anglers looking to combine excellent fly fishing with the adventure of spending several days immersed in Patagonia's spectacular wilderness.

More Than Just Fishing
One of the highlights of every trip is life at camp. After a rewarding day on the river, guests gather to enjoy outstanding Argentine cuisine, great local wines and relaxed evenings surrounded by nature.

Comfortable riverside camps, beautiful scenery and the unique rhythm of life on the river create an experience that is about much more than catching trout. It's a chance to disconnect, share unforgettable moments with family and friends, and experience Patagonia in a way that few traditional trips can offer.

Wildlife & Scenery
One of the greatest pleasures of a Float & Camping Trip is experiencing Patagonia beyond the fishing.

As you drift downstream, you'll travel through spectacular river valleys where wildlife is part of everyday life. It's common to encounter red deer, guanacos, wild boar, foxes and armadillos along the riverbanks, while condors, eagles, kingfishers, ibis, herons and many other bird species accompany the journey from above.

Every river has its own personality. Some flow through dramatic canyons sculpted by wind and water over thousands of years, while others meander across wide valleys lined with willow trees, crystal-clear side channels and peaceful gravel bars.

Even guests who don't fish often describe these trips as one of the highlights of their visit to Patagonia. Floating quietly through untouched landscapes, surrounded by wildlife and spectacular scenery, is an unforgettable experience in itself.

And yes… one question we hear all the time: there are no snakes in Patagonia!

One of the things that makes this program so special is that everyone enjoys it, whether they fish or not. While anglers spend the day casting to trout, family members and friends often discover that simply floating the river, relaxing at camp and enjoying Patagonia's peaceful atmosphere becomes one of the highlights of the entire trip.
